Security Clearance & Checks
All postings are subject to any necessary security clearance and checks: Racist Groups, Protection of Children, National Security, and mandatory vocational Qualifications, as appropriate.
Guidance on security clearance and checks is available from the Security Vetting Website.
Where staff move into the Prison Service they must be asked to provide Information about their Freemason status. Once received, the declaration must be sent to the Freemason's Unit, Room 406 Cleland House. No record of an individual's freemasonry status must be kept locally.
