Release Dates
Unless there are exceptional circumstances agreed at Area Manager/Head of Group level, successful candidates must be released to take up post within the following timescales:
- 6 weeks for staff transferring from headquarters
- 10 weeks for staff transferring from establishments (other than prison officer grades)
- 16 weeks for transferring prison officer grades
