Soft
Promotion
This describes agreed procedures which allow staff to be
promoted into a grade without the need to go through the full Vacancy
Advertising Scheme arrangements.
Soft promotion arrangements currently exist for:
- certain
Industrial/Agricultural grades
- Psychologists
in post on 31 December 2002 who have reserved rights to soft promotion
to Higher Psychologist until 31 December 2004
