Applications

The advertisement must state whether applications are to be made on VAS Application Form 1 or VAS Application Form 2. The latter provides a more detailed competence assessment section, which is recommended when the advertised post is also open to staff on promotion.

A copy of the sick absence record and related reports or warnings must be submitted with the application, together with annual staff reports and JSAC accreditation letter if required in the advertisement.

On receipt of applications, the monitoring form must be detached and kept confidentially for monitoring purposes.
