New arrangements for internal advertising of non-operational jobs
New procedures have been agreed with the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) for internal advertising of non-operational jobs. A new template has been put on the website and links to the Home Office Horizon database have been removed.

Conversion programme appointment letter
For all prison officer appointments made on or after the 1 September 2007, an additional parapgraph which outlines the requirement to complete the Custodial Care NVQ must be incorporated into the summary of the principal terms and conditions of appointment. The wording to be inserted is provided within the schedule.
