Where a conditional appointment has been offered enquiries must be completed and candidates informed of the outcome

Where a reserve list has been held this can be retained for a maximum of one year after which time candidates must be informed that the list has been disbanded and that they must re-apply.

Recruiters must review and maintain documentation to ensure that auditing and monitoring requirements of the Service and Commissioners' Code are met.

In order to comply with the Civil Service Commissioners' Recruitment Code recruiters must set up a complaints procedure.
